in the story, the father wanted his daughters got married,
so he lied them that he fell sick, jimmy knew about it too.

3 daughters tried to find their boyfriends and brought them to meet their father.

they played cards to test each boyfriends. Mr. Green

she removed the picture of the mother and replaced by her picture, and quarreled with jimmy.
