Bao Lian Deng, The Return Of The Little Whirlwind, Jimmy Lin

This was a period drama. Yu Li played as a fairy who never got old. Past twenty years or after 20 years, her look had never changed. Yu Li was entitled Beauty Yu Li, but she had to act as Jimmys mother. Didnt she sacrifice too much? I have acted in many series in different characters. To act in an older character, even I will look older on screen, but I can try a new thing, which will not limit my image. Said Yu Li.

Jimmy said that an actor wanted to try a new thing which is challenging. Jimmy expected to play in the different role like Yu Li in the future.

The back-to-past drama was not specifically defined in the modern series. Bao Lian Deng overlapped the time before and after 20 years. It was an imagination series, which was very interesting. Yu Li said if it was possible, I wanted to see myself in the next 20 years, and I wanted know what would happen then.

Yu Li and Jimmy acted as mother and son. They met one another, but didnt recognize one another. The magic lamp brought Jimmy back to the past, he found pregnant Yu Li. He also got close and listen to her belly, this made a lot of fun. Yu Li was the fairy who never got old, and her look never changed before and after 20 years. She could only convey the feeling of a mother through her eyes, gestures, the way of speaking and voice. Yu Li said, This role is very challenging. I have to be separated from my husband and son. I have to convey the inner feeling in many scenes, I have a lot of fun.

This whole series was filmed in China. It was a rural area, no entertainment places. Yu Li always did jogging during the free time, or made a phone call to her friends. Jimmy also brought his computer sets and car models from Taiwan. Jimmy said I cannot help it. My most favorite things are computer and cars. I spend a lot of time with them, but never affect my work.

In last series, The Twin Heroes, Jimmy and Yu Li acted as the opponents. In this series, they acted as mother and son, mother violated the heavens rules, so she got imprisoned in Hua San. In the end, her son went to Hua San and saved his mother. Yu Li said, Both series, I have totally different characters, I expect the next series I could act in villain role. This way can prove my talent.

Roger Kwok and Jimmy also acted as father and son. Roger was very successful in the series Yu Mei Ren, his earning highly increased suddenly, and gained the reputation.
Roger said that he was successful in penetrating Taiwan, and also got to know Jimmy. This was very worthwhile.

In the story, Yu Li disappeared, father and son suffered a lot. Roger acted in the older character, actually Roger and Jimmy were in the same age. As a professional actor, Roger believed that he could pass this difficulty. 1-2 months, Roger worked with Jimmy, Roger discovered that both of them got the same things, such as their first debut at 16, and car racing-lovers.

Jimmy always called Roger father in the series. After work, Jimmy was playful and called Roger father. Roger consoled himself, Called Yu Li mother, called Chen Jing Men aunt, I am a bit older than her, so this is not disadvantageous. Everybody will be very close. Rogers acting was superb, everybody admired him as the experienced actor. Roger just said I started the entertainment career earlier only.
Jimmy said that everybody acted in the characters that were not their real age. Jimmy felt he took a bit advantage of others. He started working at 16 too, he could be the experienced actor as well.

Before this series was aired, the image of Chen Xiang was a secret. Jimmy said I am very lucky, I am the only one who did not wear wig. I feel so grateful to the teamwork.

Jimmy felt that the storyline was similar to Back To The Future, Jimmy really had a lot of fun. Bao Lian Deng was a well-known ancient Chinese story. Jimmy acted as Chen Xiang, who was a hardworking boy. Xiao Yu Er was too playful, Lu Xiao Feng was too old, Jimmy specially likes Chen Xiang. Jimmy admired the character of Chen Xiang much, Nowadays, teenagers are not satisfied with what they have, they are materialistic. They are seeking for fake things, and ignore the self-improvement. Chen Xiang is the good model to follow. This series is suitable for teenagers, it can remind their sense and conscience to be sufficient.

Echo Shen Ao Jun became the target actress among Taiwanese reporters, she had just entered The Golden Harvest. Firstly, the directors could not find the girl for Jimmy. They tried to seek the girl from HK and Taiwan. Finally, they found a bright girl like Echo. She had been in some movies before, such as Qian Nian Deng Yi Tian and Summer Holiday (co acted with Richie Ren). The directors did not hesitate to pair her with Jimmy in Bao Lian Deng.

Jimmy was very satisfied with Echo. He admired her a lot This could be she studied in this field, so her acting is perfect. I worked with her smoothly. She is really professional. Since she is still young, but her performance is extraordinary.

Echo who worked with Jimmy for the first time said, I heard his songs, since I was a small girl. If I have a chance, I want to ask for his autograph too.

Now Echo introduced herself to you, My real name is Chao Yian, you can call me Echo. I am 23 years old, and 168 cm tall. My weight is 108 pounds. I was born on September 29, 1976, year of dragon, and birth sign is Libra. I graduated from Beijing Acting College, the faculty of Acting. I like reading, watching movies, and traveling. I speak Mandarin, Shanghai, English, and now I am studying Cantonese. My dream is to open my own school. Actually I am a native from Ha He Bing, but grew up in Shanghai. I like acting and emcee. After I graduated in Beijing, I immediately started acting.

In 1997, I used to co-act with Aaron Kwok in Pepsi commercial. Another one is shampoo commercial. I also acted in series, Nan De You Qing Ren, co-acted with Shu Qi, Patrick Tam, and Wu Da Wei, Love Talks with Zhang Shi, and the new movie Qian Nian Deng Yi Tian by Golden Harvest, I am the female lead. I signed a 3-year contract with Golden Harvest. I aim at playing in movies, series, and commercials. I have not thought about singing, because my voice is not good. I hope everybody will support me in acting.

hi i love this drama, i really want to watch the lotus lantern by jimmy lin. i love this drama. i search everry site if they have an video this drama. but sad to say i did not find it. huhuhu... i hope they have upload the lotus lantern(bao lian deng) 2000 by jimmy lin. thank you and god bless... = )
